NBA player Bryce Dejean -Jones shot dead.

Current New Orleans Pelican player Bryce Dejean -Jones (pictured above) was killed early yesterday morning May 28th in a home in Dallas. Police say he was shot dead while burglarizing the home. People are finding the burglary story strange because this season Bryce made $169,883. Below is the report from Dallas Police:
On May 28, 2016, at approximately 3:20 am, Dallas officers responded to the 2500 block of Bennett Avenue regarding a shooting. Upon arrival officers found one individual had been shot.
The resident of the apartment reported that an individual had kicked open the front door and entered his apartment. The resident, who was asleep in the bedroom, heard the individual enter and retrieved a handgun.
He stated he called out to the individual, but was not answered. As the individual kicked the bedroom door, the resident fired his gun.
The individual left the apartment and collapsed in the breezeway. The individual was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
This offense is documented on case number 127685-2016 and Dallas Police Homicide is conducting an investigation.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard split after one year of marriage

52 year old actor Johnny Depp and actress Amber Heard, 30, are getting divorced after just 15 months of marriage. According to TMZ reports, Amber Heard filed divorce papers on Monday citing irreconcilable differences. The actress filed for  divorce 2 days after Depp's mum, Betty Sue died on Saturday.
Johnny who is worth $400 million and owns a private island in The Bahamas is said to not have signed a pre-nup with Heard. Hence she's entitled to half of what he owns. The couple got married on the beach of the Mortdecai star’s private island Little Hall’s Pond Cay in the Bahamas in February last year with only 24 guests in attendance.

Amber is reported to be seeking spousal support following the end of marriage.

Johnny Depp was with his former partner Vanessa Paradis for 14 years and had 2 children together, daughter Lily Rose and son John 'Jack' Depp, but they never got married. He left her after 14 years and married Amber Heard last year.

Cameroon midfielder Patrick Ekeng dies aged 26 after collapsing on pitch in Romania

Dinamo Bucharest and Cameroon midfielder Patrick Ekeng has died in hospital after collapsing on the pitch during a Romanian league match against Viitorul Constanta yesterday Friday May 6th.

His club was leading 3-2 when he slumped just seven minutes after coming in as a substitute.
According to Floreasca hospital in Bucharest where he was rushed to, doctors tried for an hour to resuscitate the 26-year-old Cameroon midfielder but failed. As at press time, the cause of his death is still unknown with some sources citing a possible heart attack.

A statement on Dinamo's official Facebook page on Friday evening said: 'Dinamo tonight lost footballer Claude Patrick Ekeng Ekeng forever. On behalf of all of Dinamo, sincere condolences to the bereaved family. God rest his soul.'

Dinamo Bucharest players lit candles along with supporters of the club to honour Ekeng after he died. May his soul Rest in Peace.

Boko Haram now wear uniforms for Identification

The spokesman of the Nigerian Defence Headquarters, Brigadier Rabe Abubakar, said in a statement on Friday that Boko Haram terrorists have now resorted to parading themselves in uniform. He said:

As a result of ongoing onslaught against the Boko Haram terrorists in Sambisa forest, the terrorist group has now devised a means of identifying themselves. In this regard, the Boko Haram now wear uniform to blend among locality undetected where they sadly carryout their heinous crime.
The recent apprehension of 2 Boko Haram terrorists in uniform near Dikwa in Borno State, is a pointer towards this direction While the military would sustain the current tempo to further decimate the terrorists, the military is advising the recalcitrant remnant Boko Haram to surrender now and get humane treatment in line with the world best practice.
The members of the public are hereby urged to be wary of this new development and be always alert. Any suspicious persons or object should be reported promptly to the security agencies."

Kelechi Iheanacho wants his salary at Man City increased from £10k to £200k (N58m) per week

Super Eagles of Nigeria and Manchester City football club of England st"lriker Kelechi Iheanacho has reportedly asked the management of Man City for an increase in his salary from about £10,000 per week to £200,000 per week.

The 19 year old Imo state born striker who 3 years ago was still playing for Taye Academy in Owerri, has informed the club through his agents for the bumper salary package, saying he is one of the best strikers in Europe if his goal per minute ratio is considered, also saying his 13 goals this season have been crucial for Man City's season.

According to AfricanFootball, the striker has rejected a £50,000 per week salary offered to him by Man City and wants to be one of the best paid players at Man City, judging by his accomplishments and goal records during his short time in Man City's first team.
“He has deserved his keep at City as he is now one of the most effective forwards in the whole of Europe when you put his game time against the number of his goals” the source told AfricanFootball.

Atletico Madrid qualifies for the UEFA Champions' League final.

Atletico Madrid are through to this season’s UEFA Champions’ League final. Diego Simeone’s men defeated Bayern Munich on goals difference as the tie ended 2 – 2 on aggregates.

The Spanish side won the first leg 1 – 0 at home but lost 2 – 1 in the second leg. Atletico proceeded to the final on away goals rule.

Draymond Green's triple-double (23pts, 13rbs, 11asts) aids the warriors in a 1-0 win in Game1 of the Conference Semi Final

In yesterday's game between the Warriors and the Trailblazers Draymond Green showed an outstanding performance in making Tens in assists, rebounds, and also in made points (which is called a triple-double in the NBA). His performance contributed massively to the warriors win and also got them a 1-0 (the warriors leads the series). Klay Thompson the second half of the #SplashBrothers on the other hand was a scoring machine🔥🔥, he outscored the blazers all by himself with 17pts while the Trailblazers all together contributed 16pts in the 1st quarter. He came out all fired up 🔥🔥in the game with 37pts, 7 3pt made, 5rebs, 5ast, 2stls. Wow!! that was Elite🙊. He had to do that tho, 'cos his other half Stephen curry was out in the first game of the playoffs 'cos of a sprained right knee. 

 On the other hand, the Trailblazers also had a really nice game but Damian Lillard's 30pts and Al-farouq Aminu's 3-8 3pt shooting wasn't enough to quench that fire oozing out of the warriors 😂. Well, we all know they'll come out in the next game on their best behaviour and try to shun the warriors, but I don't think that'd be possible; just saying tho😉.
